Synopsis

Rie exists in a gilded cage, unaware of her confinement. She trusts the man who holds her, believing him to be an acquaintance of her father, Ken Makita. But Lupin arrives, intent on her rescue. Rie resists his efforts, bewildered by his intervention. The man, however, is the son of a friend of Ken Makita – Jooji Takigawa. He has taken Rie hostage, a calculated move to compel her father from retirement and bend him to his will.
