Synopsis

Fritz’s bicycle had been ridden into irreparable condition. The culprit had vanished, leaving behind a meticulously crafted object. It turned out to be an ancient piece of carved cane. With this fragment, Fritz Fuchs hoped to find the perpetrator. But his investigation led him not directly to the thief; instead, it first unveiled a series of unexpected clues: traces of sugar artistry, of turnips, and of the shifting, sometimes ruthless history of sweet temptation.
