Synopsis

A curious situation unfolded when Harriet Fisher, an elderly woman at a local auction, purchased a Berber rug for her dog. However, her acquisition was short-lived; a young Arab man, also desiring the same rug, swiftly stole it from her. Intrigued by this incident, Lovejoy resolved to investigate the matter. Elsewhere, Alexander and Jane found themselves embroiled in a bitter argument, leading them to the difficult decision to separate their lives.
