Synopsis

Lovejoy returned to Felsham after an extended stay in Spain, where his attempts at painting had proven largely unsuccessful. He sought out familiar faces: Tinker, now a monk; Jane, with a striking new appearance; and Eric, employed as a security guard. Soon after, Victoria Cavero, a friend of Jane’s, arrived for a visit, and Lovejoy found himself captivated by her.
