Synopsis

Lovejoy accepted a temporary position at a new antiques market in Norwich, owned by someone connected to Jane. Almost immediately, he sensed something amiss; the proprietor proved to be a charlatan, and Lovejoy resolved to unmask him. His investigation led him down a path where he also sought to ensnare another swindler peddling counterfeit paintings.
