At a sale held by Gimbert’s auction house, a curious item found its way into the hands of Mr. Lovejoy: a Welsh dresser. Concealed within its depths, he discovered a lavish Arab headdress, adorned with gold ducats. The dresser had belonged to the deceased, and Mr. Catesby, recently released from prison and the son of the deceased, claimed it had been promised to him.
