Synopsis

Charlie embarks on a difficult path of detoxification, finding unexpected assistance from Locke, whose reasons for aiding him remain obscure. Elsewhere, the remaining survivors face a desperate race against time to locate and rescue Jack, trapped beneath the rubble of a cave-in. And as Sayid, Kate, and Boone pursue a plan to trace the origin of the French signal, they discover that an unseen force may be working against them.
