Synopsis

Danielle Rousseau, the French woman, arrives at the camp, a stark and unsettling presence. She delivers a grim warning to the survivors, speaking of "the Others" who inhabit the island and the ominous black smoke that signals their approach. Simultaneously, Michael and Jin prepare the raft for their escape. Interspersed with the present-day action are glimpses of the survivors' final moments before they embarked on the ill-fated flight that brought them to this isolated place.
