Synopsis

These early inhabitants are, in truth, under the care of a computer named Protinius, which can grant fleeting moments of heightened awareness to their leader, allowing it to convey its intentions. The episode also depicts a brief and unexpected alliance between Don and Smith – a cessation of hostilities – when Smith saves Don from a deep pit, prompting Don to address him as “Doctor Smith,” uttering the word "Doctor" for what seems like an eternity. Yet, this fragile bond quickly fades, and th
