Synopsis

Dr. Walter Freeman is credited with pioneering the icepick lobotomy. He envisioned the ten-minute procedure as a solution that would render mental asylums obsolete. Driven by a desire to alleviate suffering, he inadvertently unleashed a uniquely terrible form of anguish upon the world.
