Loki stands out as another remarkable entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, offering a thorough examination of the character himself while also presenting audiences with the origins of the Multiverse. The writing team excels at crafting the TVA and its intricate rules surrounding time, which have significant consequences for everything, though there are moments where it feels like too much information is being presented. Every technical element, from the exceptional production design to the captivating and recognizable music, comes remarkably close to perfection. Nevertheless, the acting truly elevates the series; Tom Hiddleston’s portrayal of this familiar antagonist is particularly strong, but Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and several others also leave a lasting impression. I had some reservations about the ending, which might not fully satisfy those unfamiliar with the comics, and about a certain storyline involving Hiddleston and Di Martino that didn't quite ring true. Despite these minor issues, it’s easily the most significant series in the MCU to date; you really shouldn’t miss out on this one. Rating: A-
