Synopsis

Khadijah felt a familiar irritation bloom when her estranged father arrived in town for Synclaire’s wedding. She endured a Mother’s Day dinner with her parents, but offered little warmth. A whisper from Laverne – that she had seen them depart for Atlantic City in a limousine – spurred Khadijah into action. She pursued them relentlessly.
