Synopsis

Kyle accepted the position of the church's new choir director. Yielding to Regine’s persistent pleas, he granted her the solo for the performance commemorating the church's fiftieth anniversary. However, upon discovering her complete lack of vocal ability, Kyle resolved to spare Regine public embarrassment and instead offered the solo to the gifted Latrice. A distraught Regine erupted in a tantrum, disrupting rehearsals at every turn. Eventually, Latrice returned the solo. Overton and Synclaire
