Synopsis

To fund much-needed improvements to Flavor, which is struggling against the rise of a rival publication called Savor, Khadijah takes on a second job as a night security guard at a nursing home. These financial anxieties are further complicated by the news that Scooter is seeing someone else. Insomnia descends upon her, and she becomes increasingly erratic in her behavior. Following her mother’s counsel, Khadijah begins attending sessions with a psychiatrist, Dr. Bryce. She arrives at the office
