Synopsis

To be near Synclaire, Overton signs up for her night school art appreciation class. When the instructor praises one of his initial insights, Overton becomes increasingly self-absorbed, inadvertently drawing attention away from Synclaire, who feels overwhelmed and overlooked. She asks him to withdraw, but he refuses, convinced he has discovered a hidden talent. After Synclaire stops attending, Overton is consumed by remorse. She explains that she craves independence, feeling diminished both at ho
