Looking for something to stream and we just started this one without much thought. I’m glad we did because Line of Duty ended up being really good. It's a dark show with strong performances that focuses on corruption within the police force and officers looking into each other's actions. The characters seem realistic, and the storylines are intricate and often very suspenseful, particularly those interview scenes where one group is questioning another. Those alone make it worthwhile, as do the courtroom sequences. I appreciate how much care they put into showing the investigative process; sometimes a case can turn on something really small—either an officer hiding something or an investigator overlooking a clue. It’s hard to stop watching if you like police procedurals.
