The marketing hype surrounding "Light Shop" shouldn’t mislead anyone; it's largely a poorly connected, confusing, frequently irritating, and mostly dull experience. As with many screenplays currently in production, the attempt to appear intelligent seems to take precedence over crafting a story that makes sense or resonates with viewers. The series, despite its title, spends considerable time wandering aimlessly, searching for any sign of direction, meaning, or even basic appeal. The few positives I noticed were the good performances and professional-looking production. However, even these strengths couldn’t compensate for one particularly drawn-out installment that failed to capture my interest—that was enough to convince me it wasn't worth investing more time in. Ultimately, "Light Shop" only serves to highlight the script's failure to deliver a clear, captivating, or fundamentally rewarding narrative. I would advise against watching this series.
