Synopsis

Sam discovered his mother, Rose, was deeply indebted to a local mobster with a grim reputation – one who silenced women who posed problems. He soon learned that the police of the 125th precinct were complicit, turning a blind eye to the mobster's illicit activities in exchange for information on rival organizations.
