Synopsis

Amidst the ravaged landscape of war-torn France, the fates of convict Jean Valjean and seamstress Fantine hang in the balance. Valjean is perpetually shadowed by the ghosts of his past. For Fantine, however, a chance at happiness arrives with the appearance of a man who promises to be the love of her life.
