Synopsis

Thank you to Boualem Sansal for appearing on Legend. Boualem Sansal is a Franco-Algerian writer known for his politically engaged works and his criticism of the Algerian regime and Islamism. Arrested in Algeria in 2024 following several political statements, he has become a symbol of freedom of expression. He came to Legend to share his story, recount his arrest, and discuss the battles he fights through his books.
