Synopsis

Thanks to Laurent Layet for appearing on Legend. A psychiatrist and court-appointed expert, Laurent Layet spent over 15 years heading a specialized unit for high-risk psychiatric patients (UMD). He recounts his experiences working with patients and criminals, explaining how he analyzes their personalities to assist the justice system in assessing their criminal responsibility—as was the case with Dominique Pelicot. For Legend, he shares the cases that left the deepest impression on him and discusses what these experiences taught him about the complexity of human nature.
