Synopsis

Thank you to Charlène for sharing her story on *Legend Story*. At 28, Charlène is a mother of two—a boy and a girl. Her second pregnancy and the months following her daughter’s birth were a living nightmare. Suffering from postpartum depression, she was plagued by extremely violent thoughts—such as harming her baby or abandoning her. In this account, she describes what she went through, the treatment journey that helped her recover, and the long road she traveled to gradually build a bond with her daughter.
