Synopsis

In 1975, Catherine Draveil dedicated her life to God and entered a convent. Under the sway of the Mother Superior, she remained there for forty years—a life defined by six hours of daily prayer and profound solitude. What was forbidden? What were her days like? Did she get along with the other nuns? Catherine recounts those years spent in confinement, cut off from the outside world. At the age of 60, she decided to leave the convent and discover the world beyond its walls. She finally tasted freedom—marking the beginning of a series of "firsts" opening up before her.
