Synopsis

In the second part of our program, we welcome Georges Salinas, head of the Presidential Security Group (GSPR). The former deputy chief of the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI)—who led the assault on the Bataclan—joins us to discuss his life as an elite police officer and the sacrifices he has had to make, particularly regarding his loved ones. His wife, Catherine, has also agreed to appear alongside him to share her perspective. Alongside his police career, Georges is a novelist; he is here to present his book, *Par le verbe par le glaive* (published by Mareuil Editions). Catherine Salinas has also recounted her own experiences in her book, *Femme de policier d'élite* (Mareuil Editions).
