Synopsis

Beaver has a six-week trip planned across the country for the summer, and he is brimming with anticipation. Yet, he soon understands that his absence will embolden Gilbert to pursue Mary Margaret, the girl Beaver adores. Fortunately, he begins to recognize that life holds joys beyond a single affection.
