Synopsis

Beaver had informed his parents that he desired no extravagant gifts for his birthday. They resolved to honor his wishes, presenting him with a sum of money instead. Further gifts arrived from other relatives, leaving Beaver to contemplate how best to use his newfound wealth – a question his parents gently suggested might be answered by depositing it in a bank account.
