Synopsis

Furious at his father for confiscating his car keys, Lumpy Rutherford resolves to secretly enlist in the Merchant Marine. He has the enlistment forms sent to the Cleaver residence instead of his own. Attempting to be a supportive friend, Wally hides the Merchant Marine literature in his room. However, when June discovers it during her cleaning, she suspects that a recent breakup and a scolding from Ward have driven Wally to a desire for escape.
