Synopsis

A physician’s examination revealed that Beaver was unwell, and the doctor suggested a possible tonsillectomy. Ward gently eased Beaver’s anxieties by promising a stream of gifts from well-wishers during his time in the hospital. This sparked a flurry of announcements from Beaver, declaring he was scheduled for surgery, only to discover later that the procedure might not be necessary after all.
