Synopsis

During a parent-teacher conference, Miss Landers confided in June that items had been disappearing from Beaver’s classroom. A baseball glove, a lunchbox, and a baseball cap were the objects so far reported missing. Later that day, June made a startling discovery: the stolen items lay hidden beneath Beaver’s bed. This revelation left June and Ward grappling with a disquieting question – were they inadvertently raising a thief?
