Synopsis

Ward rescued a discarded pedometer from the trash and presented it to Beaver, accompanied by a tale of his own youthful days spent walking twenty miles every day. Beaver, taking the story at face value, promptly wagered with Whitey that he, too, could accomplish the feat.
