Synopsis

Beaver had been cast as a canary in the school play, a role that proved difficult for him. He lacked the natural grace required for the fluttering movements of a bird. Adding to his distress, Ward’s encouraging words on the night of the performance seemed to trigger a crippling case of stage fright in Beaver.
