Synopsis

Beaver harbored a secret affection for Miss Canfield, his teacher. The other boys, Judy, Whitey, and Larry, often teased him with the label "teacher's pet." Determined to dispel this notion, Beaver hatched a plan and concealed a spring snake in her desk. But the deed done, a sense of unease settled upon him, and he resolved to retrieve the snake before Miss Canfield discovered it.
