Synopsis

Back in Kiseong, Sang Pil assumes his mother’s place in the office – a space once dedicated to her work as a civil rights lawyer. He fills his days seeking an opportunity to defend Hyung Man in the murder of Mayor Lee Young Soo. Jae I finds herself increasingly puzzled by Sang Pil’s unwavering commitment to the case and begins to investigate his motivations. The day of the hearing arrives, and Jae I encounters peril on her journey to the courthouse. Will Sang Pil intervene to save her?
