Synopsis

The death of a former police officer, a man known for both his predatory blackmail and his secret liaisons, draws feminist lawyer Lanie Stieglitz into a courtroom battle against the formidable prosecutor McCoy. Her task: to defend a suburban wife and mother implicated in the crime.
