Synopsis

McCoy targeted the chief executive of a pharmaceutical firm, a man who had deliberately orchestrated additional clinical trials to lengthen the drug's patent and accrue millions in profit. He had done so while concealing the findings of earlier studies, which unequivocally demonstrated a significant risk of suicide among those who used the medication.
