Synopsis

A series of death threats set in motion a chain of events culminating in an assistant district attorney confronting and killing the assassin he had employed. The detectives trace the path of the threats, initially focusing on the A.D.A.'s wife, a well-known defense attorney. This suspicion arises from a convict whose case she was prosecuting, coupled with whispers of her private life. As they begin to perceive flaws in their carefully constructed narrative, Goren finds himself compelled to withh
