Synopsis

The discovery of a museum curator and an art authenticator, arranged to resemble a murder-suicide, draws Goren and Eames into a complex investigation. As they sift through the evidence, a disturbing pattern emerges: the deaths are connected to a vast network of art forgery. Their pursuit stalls, however, until Goren takes the unconventional step of seeking assistance from someone intimately familiar with deception – another forger.
