Reverend Paul’s invitation to Kyle and Mandy to join the church bowling team leaves Mike with a difficult choice for Team Baxter: he must select between Ryan and Jen. Elsewhere, Vanessa awaits the Teacher's Association's endorsement for her Assembly bid, her anticipation laced with anxiety. Meanwhile, Kristin and Chuck fret that their recent jokes about aging may have offended Ed.
