Synopsis

Lassie returned to the farm with a pack mule belonging to a gold miner, igniting a fever for fortune in Timmy and Culley. The mule led them to a promising mine, but their enthusiastic digging proved disastrous, causing the roof to cave in and trap the boys. Lassie and the firemen raced against time to rescue them before the mine filled with dangerous gas.
