Synopsis

Timmy and Lassie returned home with a litter of orphaned puppies, skeletal with hunger, rescued from the clutches of a prowling bobcat. The family rallied to nurse them back to health, though one had already succumbed to starvation. Unknowingly, the demanding little creatures fostered in Timmy a sense of independence; he, who had grown accustomed to relying on Paul for assistance with his arithmetic, began to find strength in his own efforts.
