Synopsis

Lassie’s impoundment in Capitol City, due to a missing tag and leash, reveals a grim truth: many of the dogs housed there are slated for destruction. This knowledge spurs Jeff to action. To Ellen’s considerable dismay, he transports the dogs back to the farm, determined to find them suitable homes.
