Synopsis

The loss of Mountie, even for the usually bright-eyed Lucy, brought a profound sadness that settled into a deep depression. Seeing her distress, Sue suggested a distraction: a stint volunteering at the wildlife park. Slowly, Lucy began to find a focus in the creatures there, her attention drawn to their lives and rhythms, culminating in a particular interest in a llama nearing its birthing.
