Synopsis

Working for the Forest Service, Garth and Dale assessed the rangeland when they observed a young white stallion challenging the herd's aging black leader. Garth murmured that the white horse would soon prevail. As it did, driving the wounded black stallion away from the water, Lassie attempted to guide him to safety before he succumbed.
