Synopsis

Seeking shelter from the downpour, Lassie found herself in the garage of a kind widow, a woman made lonely by the absence of her grown children. Though she welcomed the dog's presence, the widow hesitated to allow the muddy collie into the pristine house. It was then that the earth behind the house, softened and weakened by the rain, began to give way.
