Synopsis

As Scott patrolled the government rangeland, he was struck by a stray rifle shot from Tom Bradley, a boy adrift since his mother’s passing. Tom had begun spending his days shirking school to linger in the woods. Later, another of Tom's shots went awry, this time wounding his father.
