Synopsis

In San Francisco's Chinatown, Scott and Lassie are involved in a small reforestation effort and forge a connection with the children of a local school. While shielding one of the children from harm, Lassie is struck by a vehicle and subsequently seems to have lost her memory. Consequently, when a fire erupts at the veterinary office where she is recuperating, she flees into the city streets, disoriented and unsure of her past.
