Synopsis

Scott and Lassie spent a couple of days with Neeka and his father, Dean Chalmers, giving Neeka the weekend to complete a biology report. While gathering leaves, they encountered Mr. Bowers, a solitary figure whose gait was marred by an old injury, and who had largely withdrawn from the world. However, after Neeka and Lassie discovered Mr. Bowers' considerable scientific knowledge and offered assistance when he sustained an injury, he began to realize that he still craved human connection.
