Synopsis

Bob and Lassie journey to the rugged Oregon coast, a place of wild surf and churning tides. Here, logs deposited by the river are accumulating in the bay, presenting a growing hazard. They encounter Jake Peterson, an old friend of Lassie's – a former forest ranger now making his living as a crab fisherman. The danger posed by the logs becomes starkly apparent the following day when Jake takes Lassie out on the water with him.
