Synopsis

Deep within the emerald embrace of the Oregon rainforest, Lassie and her master encountered a disheartening sight: a careless camper had spilled oil into a stream. The contamination threatened the hundreds of ducks undertaking their annual migration. The Ranger and Lassie then imparted a lasting lesson in conservation to the unwitting camper.
