Synopsis

The Franklin National Forest is gripped by fire season, and during an interview about fire safety, a reporter learns that the majority of wildfires are started by children playing with matches. Soon after, Lassie discovers a boy engaged in the same dangerous activity, and the ensuing incident culminates in a fire that she valiantly attempts to extinguish.
